about
Leipzig, Germany based producer and composer Warm Graves (real name Jonas Wehner) is dropping the new single ‘Owe (The Others)’ today via Fuzz Club. Arriving following last year’s ‘Ease’ double album, the track is a dark, hazy synthwave cut released in support of upcoming Germany/Poland shows with French ‘80s New Wave legends Martin Dupont and Berlin artist Jennifer Touch (the latter also helming mixing duties on the new single.)
On ‘Owe (The Others)’, which sees retro-futurist synth lines set against a minimal drum machine beat and Wehner’s melancholy vocal, Wehner says: "I don’t wanna give away too much about this song, but one aspect it is dealing with is leaving your comfort zone and taking risks in order to evolve - no matter what the outcome might be."

Shoegaze ist die Kunst des Dröhnens, doch „Everything Is Alive“ setzt diese Elemente nur sparsam ein. Statt Hall- und Zerr-Sounds aufzutürmen, schäumt die Musik in feinen Bläschen über.
